What did we do last week? Find out in this week’s newsletter. It’s a pretty short read so you’ll have to find some other activities to fill in the rest of this week. But first, this here announcement.
As always, we are still taking orders for all our shares. Order them through our Ye Olde Online Farmstand! Spread the word and if someone you refer buys a VeggieShare we will credit your account $25. Have them put your name in the “Where did you hear about us?” box on the order form. Just to remind you, not only do we have veggies, but we also have eggs, fruit, coffee, cheese, flowers, ‘shrooms, and plants!
Farm News
Unlike some lesser organizations, we here at Fresh Earth Farms require our employees to do more than five things each week. We require them to do ten. Why ten? Because then we can read them in the voice of David Letterman’s Top Ten List (worth a click to see how far we’ve come in the last 20 years). So without further ado (there hasn’t really been that much ado), here is this week’s Top Ten Things I Did Last Week. Drum roll please.
Number 10: Skipped breakfast to try to lose some of this winter weight.
Number 9: Caught four episodes of the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions.
Number 8: Fed Fred the Cat practically every, single day!
Number 7: Learned Python so I can figure out why our greenhouse control system resets occasionally. Python is surprisingly easy!
Number 6: Two loads of laundry.
Number 5: Celebrated Wet February!
Number 4: Spent three days entering last season’s farm receipts for tax purposes.
Number 3: Thought about getting a haircut.
Number 2: Chased deer yelling “GET OFF MY FARM!”
And the number one thing I did last week? Updated our logo!
