Enjoy the freshest, most delicious vegetables around — grown just minutes from your table and frequently harvested the same day you pick them up! Fresh Earth Farms is nestled in the quiet, scenic Lower St. Croix River valley just minutes from the hustle and bustle of the Twin Cities. We believe CSA is a business model, not a box of produce. All the produce we grow goes to our members (or local food shelves). There is no competition from alternative sales channels.
Through the use of cover crops, rotations and organic inputs, we provide nutritious, delicious fruits, vegetables, and herbs while improving the soil for future generations. Plants grown in complex, active, living soils absorb more minerals, produce more vitamins and develop greater taste than plants grown with conventional chemical farming. Better taste leads to increased consumption of more nutritious produce resulting in better consumer health without the side effects of synthetic chemicals.
We understand there are more culinary delights than just vegetables so we have partnered with similar small, local food producers and businesses to provide complementary products to our members. From organic, free-range eggs to savory log-grown mushrooms, Fresh Earth Farms can deliver much of the produce you and your family desire.
We’ve belonged to other CSAs and found Fresh Earth Farms is the first CSA that can grow every vegetable with exceptional quality. We get a great assortment of produce every week.

My toddler will eat an entire pint of cherry tomatoes at one meal if you let him and loves the summer squash, zucchini, and kale.

There was a time when I couldn’t tell the difference between kohlrabi and chard. Now I can on most days, and I LOVE eating both of them! Thanks, Fresh Farms CSA!
