Yada Yada

We have a refrigerator that we use to store excess seeds from year to year.  By keeping the seeds cold we prolong their shelf life.  Then sometime in December or January I retrieve the seeds and count them to determine what new seeds we have to purchase for the next season.  Well this winter when I retrieved the seeds I noticed many of the bags were wet and yada, yada, yada, you are getting 8 ears of corn per share this week (that would be 16 for CoupleShares and 24 for FamilyShares).

Last October was really wet.  We were unable to plant the garlic until November and even then had to wait until the afternoon when the sun would thaw the ground enough for us to plant.  Then this spring, as we all know, came quite late, and yada yada yada, the garlic this season is smaller than usual.  It will be a few more weeks before we give it out.

We harvested the summer squash today and yada, yada, yada you’re getting another three per share.

What will we have this week? Well squash, corn, cucumbers, onions, green onions, some cabbage, some eggplant, some broccoli, some cauliflower, some kale, some beans, some tomatoes, some cherry tomatoes, a few beets, a bit of okra, some fennel, and yada, yada, yada, maybe something else.

There is FlowerShare this week and yada, yada, yada no other add-on shares.

As always, let me know if you have any questions, comments, yada, yada, yada…
