With the fine weather this week this newsletter will be mostly announcements. But please read it because they are important announcements!
Looks like a go for June 15th! As I mentioned in the last newsletter this is a Wednesday. The first pick-up for Monday members is June 20th. If you are still confused contact me and I will walk you through it.
I will be sending out information later this week on how to pick-up your produce at your chosen pick-up location. Some pick-up places have moved so please read the information when you get it. Hopefully it will rain soon so I don’t feel guilty doing office stuff when I should be driving a tractor. For the first week we will likely have – no guarantee – lettuce, green garlic, bok choi, maybe snap peas, maybe beets, maybe green onions, maybe kale, maybe swiss chard and maybe some other things I can’t think of at the moment.
If you are on the fence about ordering some of our partner’s products (fruit, cheese, etc.) and want to “try” one please let me know. If you decide to continue I will apply the payment toward the rest of the season. The one-time price for fruit is $47.00, cheese $22.00, bread $5.50, and meat $116.00.
For those who like blueberries or cherries you can order either a la carte. Blueberries typically arrive in late June/early July. Cherries are early to mid July. Both are quite tasty! They can be ordered from our online farmstand or by sending me email. Please order as soon as possible so you don’t miss out.
We are still short of our share goal. Being a pure CSA we don’t have any other outlet to sell this extra produce. So please spread the word. And if you would like to upgrade your share from a CoupleShare to FamilyShare that would help too! Just let me know and I will make the change.
Farm News
Since I don’t have much time to update you on how the farm is doing I thought I would do it with pictures. But since picture taking also takes time I figured I would give it to you all in one shot. So, here you go! Everything looks pretty good don’t you think?
