Calling all retirees, full time parents and anyone else who is looking for something to do on Wednesday morning (9/6) starting around 10:00. We have a lot of squash that needs room in the greenhouse and to make room we need to get the onions processed and out of there! And to do so takes time. The more people who help, the less time it takes! So if you have a spare hour or two or ten, please come out and lend a hand. What does it take you ask? The ability to sit on a chair and rub the outside skin and dirt off an onion. That’s about it. Having the ability to converse with other farm members is a plus! If we can find one person who can count the onions, well then we just hit the jackpot! We will do this rain or shine. If raining, we will be inside the greenhouse. If shining, we’ll be outside the greenhouse. If you pick up your produce Wednesday morning why not add an extra hour to your pick-up and process a few onions? What better way to start the day!
