Farm News
Well we are in a bit of a holding pattern right now. Weather forecasts indicate a warming trend starting this weekend. This forecast has made me wait to finish up all that needs to be finished out in the field. I’m hoping for a week or 10 of 50+ degree weather. Wouldn’t that be nice!
Other than outdoor farming we are starting a project to update our greenhouse to make it more efficient and usable. It’s not that it is unusable but having a door at each end and better electrical will make it more accessible and useful. Unfortunately adding a door doesn’t start and end with adding the door. We have to move a heater and a cooling fan just to give us the space in which to put the door. Of course to move such things we have to rerun electrical wires and conduit. Which then makes us look into other future enhancements which would be easier to add now while we are changing things. It seems nothing on the farm is ever a one-step process.
