Almost Ready for Lunch, er… Launch

snap peaJust important announcements this newsletter.  There is too much farming weather out there today to work inside.  But the information here is important so please read!

The season is scheduled to start June 17th.  Pick-up instructions have been sent to the email address on file.  Please share these instructions with anyone who will be picking-up your produce.  If the instructions you received are for a different location or day than you thought you signed-up for or you simply changed your mind please let me know; now is the best time to make the change.  Also let me know if you did not receive the instructions and I can try to figure out what went wrong.

If you would like to try out the SeafoodShare, FruitShare, MeatShare or CheeseShare without committing to the full season we have added one-time trial items to our online store.  You can get one week of any of the above, and if you decide to continue we will prorate the cost for the rest of the season!  If you have thought about purchasing any of these items but were reluctant due to the upfront cost here is your opportunity to give it a try.  No risk, lots of reward!

MeatShare arrived on Friday.  If you purchased it and haven’t picked it up yet please contact me to schedule a time to stop by.  If you want to wait until veggie season please let me know; we can keep it frozen for you.

We still having shares available!  Spread the word!

My prediction for what we will have the first week is: lettuce, green garlic, bok choi, radishes, green onions and peas (keep your fingers crossed on the peas).  If we get great growing weather we could have Swiss Chard and kale as well.  Should be a good start to the season!
