Food Shelf

With the season just about over we still have quite a bit of produce left to harvest in the field.  We have a couple rows of potatoes (probably around 500 pounds), a couple rows of carrots (a couple hundred pounds), some leeks, Brussels sprouts, fennel and who knows what else.  What we have done in the past and what we want to do again is have members and friends of the farm come out and help harvest the remaining produce to send to local food shelves.  As compensation, there won’t be any money, but when you die, on your death bed, you will receive total consciousness.  So you’ll have that going for you, which is nice.  You can also take some of the produce as well.

Here are the details:

Saturday, November 2nd

1:00 until 5:00

I need a critical mass of people to make this worthwhile.  Let’s give back to our community and support those who are less fortunate than ourselves.  Please RSVP to let me know how many people will be coming.  Thank you!
