We are still taking orders for the 2026 season. Join now by ordering through our online store, or for returning members simply sending in a $100 deposit.
We added a 5 lb bag of Coffee as an item on our online farmstand. Same coffee but in a much larger size. Unlike our standard CoffeeShare which comes every month, bulk coffee is a one time delivery, so if you drink 5 lbs of coffee per month you would have to buy one each month. Or you can just order as necessary — your call.
Anyone interested in Nuts and Legumes? As I mentioned in my last newsletter we are thinking about offering a NutShare and a LegumeShare (formerly known as BeanShare but since it would also have lentils and dry peas I thought LegumeShare was more appropriate). There would be two NutShares — one that is unsalted used as ingredients in cooking, and another that may have salt or chocolate or whatever to be a healthy snack option. The LegumeShare is all organic. The nuts in NutShare may or may not be organic — we don’t have a lot of choice. All of the items come from a local Minnesota distributor. Let me know if you are interested!
I figured I’d also mention we have ‘Shrooms, Fruit, Eggs, Flowers, Winter, Coffee and transplants on our store for you to order at your leisure.
Farm News
Not much farm news this time of year. Mostly taxes, seed counting and eventually seed ordering. If there is something you want us to grow this season now is the time to let me know! We can’t grow everything here but can grow a lot of things.
Oh, and of course we created the new Board of Peas (see logo above).
As always, do not hesitate to send in questions, comments, suggestions, applications for board membership (for the low, low cost of $1,000,000,000) or anything else you think would be helpful or interesting.
Joke of the Week
What do you call an on demand streaming radio show about legumes?
A podcast obviously!
