I realize we’ve been a little wishy-washy on our commitment to harvesting garlic but we finally got the weather control system working so that tomorrow (Friday) we dialed up the perfect garlic harvesting weather! If you are looking for something to do or a way to use up some of that sweet, sweet PTO, come out and lend a hand! We’ll start at 10:00 am and go until it is done or 3:30, whichever comes first. We determined yesterday that it took about three person-hours per bed and we have four beds left. That means we need about 12 person hours to complete the project. If I do it myself you will find me in the garlic patch this weekend. If we can get 10 people to help we’d be done in an hour! Farming is just simple math really.
Anyway, if you can lend a hand we’d appreciate the help. Park in the usual spot and walk down the driveway until you smell us (because we are harvesting garlic not because we smell bad).
